Longtime news anchor dies at the age of 79

TYLER — A longtime news anchor in Tyler has died. Judy Jordan died Monday, after battling Alzheimer’s disease. The former KLTV anchor spent a season with KTBB. Jordan, is considered an innovator for women in media, she was the first female anchor in Dallas. Jordan entered the Tyler market in 1984, where she anchored the “East Texas News” every weeknight. Judy Jordan was 79.
