Tyler Police make arrest in shooting of convenience store worker

TYLER — Tyler Police have made an arrest in the Friday night shooting at a South Tyler convenience store. Officers arrived at the City Fuel Express on S.Broadway finding Milburn-Rudee Beam, 32, of Whitehouse, had been shot in the leg. Beam, an employee, was shot while taking the trash out. Sonjay Pgsee, 17, of Tyler, was located and arrested two days later. During his arrest, officers say, Pgsee gave false identification to officers. Pgsee was arrested on charges of aggravated assault, and failure to identify as a fugitive from justice.
