Longview Police mourning fellow officer

LONGVIEW — The Longview police department is grieving the loss of one of their own. According to the departments Facebook page veteran officer, Cedric Davis died early Friday, following a “courageous battle” with cancer. Officer Davis started his career with the Longview Police Department about 15 years ago. Davis is described as a dedicated and loyal officer that loved God, his family, co-workers, and the community that he served.
