Early Voting Starts in May Elections

TYLER — Early voting in the May elections got underway today. One high-profile item is the Smith County jail bond. 384 beds would be added under the $35 million plan, which calls for expansion and renovation of the existing jail. Early voting continues through May 10, and Election Day is May 14.
