Smith County Daily Update on COVID-19TYLER — No new COVID-19 cases or COVID-19 related fatalities within Smith County as of Wednesday, March 18 at 12 p.m. There are 5 confirmed cases in Smith County. Judge Nathaniel Moran of Smith County has approved an emergency declaration. There have been no restrictions placed on private businesses at this time. City of Tyler facilities remain closed to public access through April 1.

In observation of a Community Mitigation Period, Tyler Independent School District remains closed until March 23. Tyler ISD Food Services will provide FREE curbside meals March 16-20 to all of our Tyler ISD students. Meal pick up locations will be at Boulter, Hubbard, Moore, and Three Lakes middle schools, Caldwell Arts Academy, and Griffin Elementary School.
