East Texan Sentenced for Federal Drug Trafficking

TYLER — The Eastern District of Texas announced on Wednesday that a 27-year-old Tyler man has been sentenced to federal prison for drug trafficking violations. Dakota Allen plead guilty in September of last year to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and was sentenced to 19 years in federal prison. Judge Kernodle also ordered forfeiture of $5,000 seized from the defendant.
