Tyler Rainfall Sets Record

TYLER — A record-setting amount of rain fell Wednesday in Tyler. KTBB weather consultant Dr. Bob Peters reports that it was the wettest February day since records began — in 1883. Peters reports 5.59 inches. The previous record for February was 4.78 inches on February 3, 1986. The prior record for February 12: 1.53 inches in 1984.
