Sewer Line Replacement Begins Monday in TylerTYLER — The City of Tyler Wasterwater Collection Department is scheduled to replace several sewer lines beginning Monday. The work is anticipated to run through Friday of this week. The project will impact 3 areas of the city and affect traffic flow while the contractors are working. The project will start on Monday, at W. Shaw Street and South Academy Avenue, while the intersection remains open, drivers should expect delays.

Tuesday through Thursday the work will be concentrated on N. Bois D’Arc between West Wilson and W. Selman Street. Traffic will be detoured around the construction. Northbound traffic will be diverted onto West Oakwood Street to Della Ave. and southbound traffic will have to detour onto W. Wilson St. and onto Della Ave. Wednesday through the 17th work will be happening on N Border Ave. The Tyler Water Utilities’ parking lot and customer service drive-through lane will be closed. Customers will be able to pay their water bills inside the building.
