BROWNSBOR0 — Residents in Brownsboro are being asked to conserve water. On Friday, Jacob Ashton told KTBB, “we lost one of our 2 water wells after one went down following a power surge.” The Director of Utilities continued, “I want to reassure the public that we still have water because we have 2 wells, however we are asking residents to conserve water. We don’t want to overload the working system. We are glad that this will be a minor inconvenience as another crew is working to put in a new well.”
Ashton said, “We want to thank our residents for being proactive and understanding during this brief agitation.” The city feels like the new system will be up and in place by late this evening.
