Gohmert: A Great Move by the President

WASHINGTON D.C. — East Texas Congressman Louie Gohmert weighed in on the killing of Iran’s top general, Qassem Soleimani. On Friday the U.S. District 1 Congresman told KTBB, “I don’t think the world is in a more dangerous place when you have eliminated the top terrorist from the top terrorist country in the world, along with some of his henchmen. I think it was a great move by the President, a bold move.” A U.S. drone strike on a Baghdad airport took place Thursday night.

The Congressman continued, “Soleimani has killed lots of people, hundreds of, maybe thousands of Americans and he won’t be doing that anymore, and for the first time in a long time, Iran has received a message that not only is this President not going to send them a 150 Billion Dollars to kill more American’s with, we are going to take out the people that try to kill Americans.”
