TxDOT’s Weekly Roadwork Update

TYLER – TxDOT is planning to conduct a range of construction and maintenance work throughout the Tyler District this week. In Gregg County, on Tuesday UPRR will be replacing the railroad tracks on FM 2087 with work scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The work requires closing the roadway from Sabine St. to I-20. Motorists must use alternate routes to reach their destinations. Motorists in Smith County should be prepared for a closure on the I-20 Ramp Improvement Project. The westbound entrance ramp at Jim Hogg Road will be closed November 14-22 as construction work is conducted.
