Power Outages Close Troup Offices Monday Morning

SMITH COUNTY — Smith County Offices in Troup were closed Monday morning due to a power outage. The Smith County Justice of the Peace/Constable’s Office for Precinct 3, as well as the Auto Registration Substation, were down until electricity could be restored. The city was out clearing debris on the streets before 5 a.m. that made roads difficult to navigate following overnight storms across the area.
