Wild Rose Rescue Ranch filed suit against the city, claiming its ordinance limiting the number of pets in each household to four is unconstitutional. In the new settlement, the ranch agreed to reduce the number of dogs, and the city is prohibited from seizing any animals already present from the property. Whitehouse city officials are allowed to inspect the ranch every 30 days to verify the number of dogs present.
