East Texas Police Chief Announces Resignation

PALESTINE — The City of Palestine will soon be looking for a new Chief of Police. Chief Andy Harvey has announced his resignation. Under Harvey’s leadership the department has taken large steps forward technologically, as well as with community engagement. City officials have not established a timeline for Chief Harvey’s permanent replacement. Chief Harvey’s last day is scheduled for October 18th.
