Tyler Rose Garden to be Celebrated as National Treasure

TYLER — The Tyler Municipal Rose Garden is set to be listed in the National Register of Historic Places. According to a relase from the city, a ceremony will be held in mid-October following the two-year application process. Established in 1952, the Tyler Municipal Rose Garden is the nation’s largest rose garden, spanning 14 acres, with over 38,000 rose bushes and 600 different varieties.
