MARSHALL — Harrison County joins the list of East Texas counties banning outdoor burning. Commissioners issued the order Tuesday for unincorporated areas. One exception: outdoor cooking is permitted, but only in enclosed pits or grills. Also, several outdoor burning activities related to public health and safety will be allowed. The order will stay in effect for 90 days unless the restrictions are terminated earlier by local authorities.
