Local Coach Dies After Fight With Cancer

BULLARD — Bullard Softball Coach Megan Dobrinski has died following her battle with cancer. According to our news partner KETK, Dobrinski was diagnosed with the disease at the end of the season this past May. Last week, Bullard held a softball and kickball tournament to bolster support for her. Supporters at the tournament said she had dedicated her life to the sport she loved and wanted to give some of that love back. Dobrinski leaves behind her husband of 11 years and 2 daughters.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday, August 16, 6-8 p.m. at Chandler First United Methodist Church, 507 North Broad Street, Chandler. The funeral service is set for Saturday, August 17, 10 a.m. at Audry B. Owens Auditorium, 1426 S. Houston, Bullard, Texas.
