State Comptroller Sends Monthly Sales Tax to Tyler & Longview

AUSTIN — Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced on Wednesday local sales tax allocations for August. Tyler took a small dip in July, while Longview was up for the month. Tyler will receive $3,997,169.02 for July, to $4,024,042.83 last July, that is -0.66% in comparison. For the year Tyler has received $30,472,405.09 parralleled to $29,094,253.68, which is up for 2019, 4.73%. Longview will receive $3,229,487.05 for July, compared to $3,153,742.29 last July, that is plus 2.40% in comparison. For the year Longview has received $23,036,274.22 compared to $21,875,440.89 which is up for 2019, 5.30%. The state is up more than 4 percent set side by side to July 2018.
