Conditions Right for Wildfires

RED SPRINGS – Gusty winds and dry conditions help fuel some fires around the area Tuesday. One was off Hitts Road in the Red Springs area where a fire destroyed a building belonging to Valance Oil Company. No injuries were reported and the cause remains under investigation.
