UT Tyler, TJC Partner to Promote STEM Research

TYLER — The University of Texas at Tyler announced that the University and Tyler Junior College are collaborating in the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation Summer Research Academy. 5 UT Tyler students and 2 TJC students have been accepted as 2019 fellows. The aim is to enhance STEM research and education. The program is also formulated to provide research experiences to undergraduate students from under represented populations and encourage them to pursue graduate-level science, technology, engineering and mathematics studies.
