Hillhouse Announces Bid for Re-Election

ATHENS — Henderson County Sheriff Botie Hillhouse announced in a press release on Monday his intent for re-election in 2020. He was elected in 2016 and ran on a platform of cracking down on drugs, particularly methamphetamines. “With drug intervention and the changing economy, meth production once common in this county has almost disappeared completely,†he said. So far, Hillhouse is uncontested in his race.
