U.S. Sen. Cornyn Announces Funding for Pounds

TYLER — A $100,000 federal grant will revamp the perimeter fence to help protect the safety of the Tyler Pounds airfield. The aid comes through the Federal Aviation Administration’s Airport Improvement Program. In a press release from the Senator, Cornyn saying “access to safe and efficient infrastructure is critical as so many Texans travel for work, leisure, and visiting loved ones.” The fencing covers 10,900 feet.
