One Boil Water Notice Lifted and One Added

PALESTINE – The City of Palestine has rescinded the boil water notice for the 300 block of Palm Drive. It was put into place because of the replacement of a flush hydrant. Then the city issued a boil water notice for the areas of Sylvan Avenue between Angelina Street and Colorado Street and the area of Brazos Street between Sylvan Avenue and Michaux Avenue. Crews will be working to make fire hydrant repairs after a traffic accident at Sylvan Avenue and Brazos Street. During this time, residents may experience low to no water pressure.
