MARSHALL – The National Weather Service confirms that an EF1 tornado touched down north of Marshall, in Harrison County, during Wednesday’s storms. It caused no damage. Thousands are still without power because of the storms. While many have had power restored, there are many still without it, and SWEPCO says it could be days before the power is completely restored. Our news partner KETK reports Longview alone had a peak of 32,000 residents without electricity during the storms. SWEPCO is estimating it will be Monday night before all of Longview’s power has been restored.
