Nacogdoches Deputy Dies in Motorcycle Accident

NACOGDOCHES – Nacogdoches police are investigating a motorcycle accident that killed a Nacogdoches County sheriff’s deputy. Morgan Sheppard, 26, a county jailer, died early Sunday morning when a car pulled into his path. The accident happened shortly after 1:15am in the 2800 block of North Street.
