New Leadership Roles at TJC

TYLER – Tyler Junior College officials have announced new leadership roles in the institution’s enrollment management and advancement divisions. The announcement invloves 5 persons. Britt Sabota has been named TJC registrar. She will oversee services including student records management, academic transcripts, enrollment verification, course schedule and registration maintenance, and graduation. Chris Fontaine has joined TJC as director of academic advising. He will oversee services such as selection of appropriate areas of study, test interpretation, transfer requirements, goal setting and academic plan development.
Also included in the announcement was Claire Mizell, who has been named TJC director of admissions. She became assistant director of admissions last June. Joining TJC as a career planning specialist is Tracey Maples. TJC Career Planning helps students in the selection of a major, determine a career direction, develop career goals, and successfully complete college.
Joining TJC as director of annual giving is Whitney Patterson. She will oversee the TJC President’s Circle, the TJC Foundation golf tournament, the college’s employee campaign, annual scholarships and various other giving initiatives, all of which raise funds as well as awareness for TJC scholarships and programs.
