TYLER — A controversial project planned for South Tyler was approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission Tuesday. According to our news partner KETK, more than 300 acres owned by the Genecov Group was re-zoned. The development is near West Cumberland Road and Maple Street. It’s received a lot of push-back from those who live nearby. The plan now goes to the city Council for discussion.
