Teen Facing Numerous Charges in Palestine

PALESTINE – Palestine police have arrested a man wanted for multiple violent felonies. Jadarius Clewis, 19, of Palestine was chased by an officer who knew he had several outstanding warrants. That chase ended when he ran a stop sign and hit a car. He then fled on foot. The officer was able to chase him down. He is now charged with evading arrest with a vehicle, evading arrest, tampering with physical evidence and accident Involving damage to vehicle over $200. Plus, he still has active warrants for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated robbery and obstruction or retaliation.
