3-Year-Old Mineola Boy’s Death Being Investigated by Police

MINEOLA — Mineola police have opened an investigation into a 3-year-old boy’s death last week. According to our news partner KETK, police and EMS were called to a home on West Buchanan Street March 6. Police say the boy had fallen in the home and was unconscious when officials arrived. The boy was transferred to UT Health-Tyler and then flown to Dallas Children’s Hospital. He remained in critical condition before dying from his injuries on March 9. CPS is also investigating.
