Increased Police Patrols in Palestine

PALESTINE – Palestine police have increased patrols during spring break. The increased enforcement will focus on speeding, seat belt, safety seat, and DWI violations. The police department will utilize the Texas Department of Transportation Selective Traffic Enforcement Grant to fund overtime for off-duty officers to work this increased enforcement effort in an effort to help eliminate traffic crashes and fatalities. The increased enforcement will run through March 24th.
