Classes Canceled Friday in Malakoff

MALAKOFF – Malakoff ISD is the next East Texas district cancelling school Friday. According to our news partner KETK, the district cites illness and the Cedar Creek Reservoir Spillway Bridge construction. MISD plans to reopen as normal on Monday regardless of the bridge construction. Any extracurricular activities will continue as scheduled. TXDOT closed the bridge Wednesday evening after a concern was identified during a routine bridge inspection conducted by local maintenance forces.
