Funeral Set for Boy Killed in Bus-Train Collision

ATHENS — A funeral is set Friday for 13-year-old Christopher Bonilla, who died last Friday when his school bus was hit by a train in Athens. According to our news partner KETK, his funeral will be held at 11 a.m. in the Athens High School gymnasium. Christopher was a student at Athens Middle School. People in Athens and around East Texas have spent the week finding ways to remember the teen. The investigation of the case continues.
