A Fatal Harrison County Crash

WASKOM – A Louisiana man has died in a Harrison County accident. Pronounced dead at the scene was Charles Rashad Benne, 32, of Haynesville. The Department of Public Safety report says his car was traveling eastbound on Interstate Highway 20, at an unsafe speed, when the vehicle hydroplaned, left the road and ran into a ditch. It then hit a tree. A passenger in his car was taken to a Louisiana hospital and is in stable condition. The crash happened shortly before 12:45 Thursday morning two miles west of Waskom.
