Shooting Suspect Linked to 4 Homicides
Posted/updated on: December 19, 2018 at 3:27 pmTYLER – A law enforcement task force says it has evidence linking a suspect in a weekend shooting with 4 area homicides. Kristian Perdomo, 25, of Tyler, was arrested following the wounding of Bradley Brockman, 45. He remains in critical condition in a Tyler hospital following the Sunday afternoon shooting at the Westwood Shopping Center. They have now received forensic confirmation from the Department of Public Safety Crime Lab that links the gun used in that shooting to four recent shootings in the area. Four men died in those shootings. The investigation into the shootings continues and Perdomo, who is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, is now facing additional charges.
The other shootings:
1. Friday, December 7: Mario Guzman was found dead with a gunshot wound by his front door at 1505 North Summit.
2. Sunday, December 9: Jhoel Sevilla was found dead in front of his apartment in the 5800 block of County Road 382, with a gunshot wound.
3.Monday, December 10: Benny Jackson was found dead with a gunshot wound on his front porch at 1421 West Barrett.
4.Saturday, December 15: Jerome Jones was found dead from a gunshot wound by the side of the road at the 2700 block of Old Gladewater Highway.
