One Arrested for Arson Following Longview Fire

LONGVIEW — A man has been arrested for arson in a Longview fire. Officials say the Longview Fire Department responded around 4:00 p.m. Thursday to a home on Nikki Court. When units arrived they found a chair and personal belongings on fire under a covered back porch of the duplex. The flames were extinguished and no injuries reported. Further details weren’t immediately provided in what authorities term an ongoing investigation.
