Oklahoma Man Held in Murder of Former Longview Woman

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma – A 27-year-old Oklahoma City man faces prosecution in connection with the murder of a former Longview woman in 2017 and 39 other crimes. According to our news partner KETK and the Longview News-Journal, Mario Nomore remained in the Oklahoma County Jail on 40 charges, including the murders of Ashley Easton, formerly of Longview, and her boyfriend, Bashar Burks; two other homicides; and 30 counts of robbery. Easton’s mother said she became suspicious when her daughter did not arrive in Longview as planned. The mother said Easton lived in Longview for much of her life but moved to Oklahoma several years ago.
