Meals on Wheels Anniversary Banquet

TYLER — The 45th anniversary banquet of Meals on Wheels Ministry will be held Tuesday at Green Acres CrossWalk Conference Center in Tyler from 10:30 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. The doors will open at 10:30 a.m. and kick off the silent auction, lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. and the program will start at noon. The event theme of “Farmers Market” will showcase the natural beauty and home-grown abundance of local farmers markets, according to a news release. The event will also highlight the nutritional foundation of MOWM, which serves nearly 3,000 homebound senior and disabled people living across six counties in East Texas.
