Tyler’s Teen Curfew Renewed

TYLER Tylers teen curfew, which has been in effect since 1994, remains in effect after the city council renewed the measure. State law requires the city council to renew the measure every three years, which the council did at yesterdays meeting. Under the law, teens have to be home by 11:00pm Sunday through Thursday and by midnight on Friday and Saturday. Last year Tyler police cited 52 teens for violating the law.
