No Change in City of Longview’s Property Tax Rate

LONGVIEW — The property tax rate will remain the same for Longview residents this year. According to our news partner KETK, City Council members voted to keep the rate around fifty cents per $100 value. Property taxes make up almost a third of the city’s general fund revenue. The money generates revenue for the city budget.
