Kilgore College Earns National Award for Excellence in Financial Reporting

KILGORE — The Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) has awarded Kilgore College the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. According to a news release from the college, the Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting. The annual GFOA recognition certifies that KC’s financial audit is prepared in accordance with guidelines recognized by nationally established standards.
