TJC Adds Anthropology to Curriculum

TYLER — Tyler Junior College has added anthropology classes to its history and geography program. The classes will be taught by Dr. Keith Eppich, who recently joined the full-time faculty at TJC. Eppich holds multiple degrees from Louisiana State University and San Diego State University, and a Ph.D. from Southern Methodist University. He specializes in the study of the Classic Maya ceramic arts, Native American urbanism, and the Mesoamerican economy — and has recently published on all three. Eppich joined his first archaeological project at age eight and has performed a variety of excavations since then.
