More Long Prison Terms for a Smith County Shooting

TYLER – Two more suspects have been sentenced in connection with a Smith County shooting. In state district court in Tyler Thursday, Tarrance Dashawn Reggie, 20, (pictured) and Carlos Alberto Ochoa, 18, both of Tyler, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault. Each man was sentenced to 20 years in prison. On Wednesday, a co-defendant in the case, Joel Camacho, 23, of Tyler, also received a 20 year sentence. The shooting, which wounded one person, occurred last September near the Eagle Creek Mobile Home Park off State Highway 271 North.
