Posted/updated on: July 6, 2018 at 1:48 am

TYLER — An open house meeting for the U.S. 69 Feasibility Study will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, at First Christian Church at South Broadway and Loop 323 in Tyler. According to information from TxDOT, the open house will be an opportunity for the public to learn about the study, ask questions, and provide input on ways to enhance safety and improve mobility along Smith County’s most congested corridor. Officials say traffic conditions along the U.S. 69, or South Broadway, corridor from Amherst Street to FM 2813 through Tyler are expected to almost double in the next 25 years.
