Reward Increased in Gregg County Murder Case

LONGVIEW – Gregg County Crime Stoppers has increased the reward in the 2016 shooting death of Ronnie Horaney. The $20,000 reward has been increased to $70,000 with funds provided by the victim’s widow and children for the sole purpose of bringing closure in this case for their family. The Longview businessman was shot while answering the door at his home on Tryon Road just north of Longview. The Gregg County Sheriff’s Office has released a sketch of a person of interest in this case and they are asking for help from the community in identifying this person.
