Katz On the November Ballot

TYLER – Rabbi Neal Katz is officially on the November ballott. The Texas Secretary of State has certified Katz as an independent candidate for House District 6, which includes 76% of Smith County. The only other candidate is the incumbent, Republican Matt Schaefer. There is no Democratic candidate. Katz, 45, is the rabbi for Temple Beth El in Tyler and has lived in Tyler for 15 years.
