Prison Term for Sexual Assault

TYLER — A Tyler jury has assessed a 20 year prison term to a Smith County man for the sexual assault of a child. The sentence was handed down yesterday to Darren Ray Dickens, 45. He pled guilty last week to sexually assaulting some young teenage girls in his home. His sentencing trial was held in Tylers 241st State District Court.
