TxDOT’s Weekly Roadwork Update

TYLER – Here’s a look at work planned in TxDOT’s Tyler District during the week of June 18. A new nighttime overlay project got underway Sunday evening on SH 300/Gilmer Road in Longview. Work will be conducted from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Thursday nights until the project is completed at summer’s end. Districtwide seal coat operations are ongoing in the Tyler District. Motorists should expect lane closures and delays during this work to seal and protect roadways from water, and provide a longer life cycle.
