Crews Surveying Wastewater Collection System

TYLER — Tyler inspection crews Monday began conducting a physical survey on the city’s wastewater collection system. According to our news partner KETK, they’ll do this on North Northwest Loop 323 between Highways 110 and 64. The crews will open manholes in the streets and send smoke through the sewer lines to detect breaks and defects, so don’t be alarmed when you see that smoke. They’re trying to repair and improve the wastewater collection system, and this will go on the whole week.
