Sales Tax Allocations Good for Tyler and Longview

AUSTIN – Texas cities and counties are receiving their June tax allocations from the state. It is based on sales made in April. The sales tax allocations in Tyler and Longview are still looking strong. Tyler’s allocation tops $3.3 million. That is up nearly 10% from last June. Longview’s June figure exceeds $2.2 million, also an increase of nearly 10%. Through June, Tyler’s sales tax allocations for the year are over $20.2 million while Longview’s total tops $14.7 million. Both number top the first six months of last year.
