Suspect Surrenders in Fun Forest Park Shooting

TYLER — One of two men has surrendered in connection with a shooting the night of May 30 at Tyler’s Fun Forest Park. Police say 23-year-old Datreon Kentreal Jackson (left) has turned himself in. Three people sustained non-life-threatening injuries — two from the gunfire and the third from shattered vehicle glass. Jackson and 24-year-old Davonta Tramane Hill (right) were each named in three warrants for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury. Police are continuing to investigate the incident. Hill remains at large.
